It arrived in eight days, the delivery company dropped the cardboard boxes on a pallet in my driveway, which was OK with me, I did not want to pay the extra money for in-room delivery. Getting it into position was the first workout! The machine was well-packaged for shipping, and arrived undamaged with minimal cosmetic blemishes. I assembled it in the space of about three hours over two consecutive evenings. There are a couple of steps where you will have to have a second person to make sure everything is correctly aligned and stays that way as you tighten the bolts, but most of it can be done by one person. I looked very hard at the Body Solid G6B, which is less expensive, and at the more expensive HOIST PFT, but really liked the looks, flexibility and affordability of the BodyCraft. I have received a couple of compliments on the looks of this machine, it is a nice gray, business-like but not dull. There is very little you cannot do with one of these machines, the versatility really puts conventional single-user home gyms to shame. It is very stable, does not wobble or shake in use, it is quiet and very smooth. The included DVD is very good, and I love using this thing.

Assembly: It was very easy and straight forward. All of the holes were in the right place and nothing was forced. The initial steps of attaching the pull-up bar and main brace take two people. The rest of it goes together nicely with one person. I really appreciate that all of the cabling was in place prior to shipping. One note on assembly, the bag of hardware that you get looks a little thin until you realize that many of the bolts and screws are already in place in the equipment.
Look and Feel: From the fit and durability of all the parts to the quality of the materials used, this is truly a world class piece of equipment. The acrylic panels give it a very clean and modern look. The gray painted weight stacks are also a nice touch. You can even tell that the weight selection pins have an engineered quality to them. It’s clear that the attention to detail by the designers was very high.
Functionality: The cable pull is very smooth. Lifting and lowering sides is very easy and can be done quickly and with little effort. The bars, handles and straps all have a very high quality feel to them. I also love the exercise book positioned right at eye level. It gave me tips on exercises that I would not have even considered otherwise.
All in all, this is a very high quality, well thought out, attractive piece equipment that I will use for many many years. I could not be happier with it.

I’ve had this PFT V2 now for about a month. I liked the concept of Functional Trainers; small footprint, height adjustable pulleys and plenty of weight. If you have a Functional Trainer, there is not one body part that you can’t get a good workout. I checked prices, names and sizes of many Functional Trainers. I finally decided on BodyCraft V2. (side note: get the 210 pound stack if you can afford it. Then buy 2 PlateMate 5 pound magnets to adjust your weight in 5 pound increments. Body Craft customer service recommended this idea).
About the machine: First, when I ordered my machine it took 3 weeks to get it. It literally comes in on a slow boat from China, then customs. But, don’t despair! The wait is worth it. The machine is delivered on a pallet. Each side of the machine in it’s own box. The weights packaged separately, as well as the plastic (lexan) that mounts on the sides. There will also be some other small boxes. Anyway, when I first started to unpack things I noticed the boxes were a bit jacked up when they were delivered. I took pictures and continued unpacking. At the first look at the instructions I thought Holy F***, this is going to be a nightmare. It was after I started the assembly process that I noticed that a lot of the assembly was already done at the factory. It went together easily and works great! I love this machine. Body Craft customer service is fantastic. I had a couple of small things that needed replacing due to shipping and made a call. No questions asked, parts shipped out the same day. Seriously consider purchasing this machine. You won’t regret it!

I bought this back in November to replace an old home gym that I used for 18 years which finally broke. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. It allows me to replicate my old workout very easily and also given me more options than my old Tuff Stuff gym. It’s perfect for home use and you can work every muscle group effectively. I also travel quite a bit and many hotels have similar types of trainers so I’m able to keep my regular regimen going even when I’m on the road. Sturdy and smooth operation. Highly recommend it.

I am extremely happy with the PFT V2 Functional Trainer. It is compact, rock solid and beyond user friendly. Quiet, well thought out in design and is a beautiful piece of equipment. This functional trainer is a no non sense benchmark product. I have used this product for 8 years at the gym I go to. It is durable and can withstand the intense rigors of a commercial gym. It is one of the few products that is never out of service. As a surgeon I have to be very cautious to prevent injury that can adversely effect my ability to perform surgeries. I had a ruptured biceps tendon and ligament damage to my left shoulder in March of 2014. This system was a staple in my rehab. I was scheduled to not lift until July 2014. In May 2014, I started on this trainer with virtually no resistance. By my first post operative visit in July, I was using almost the same weight I used pre- operatively. I was pain free with no loss of range of motion. I actually continued to improve reaching personal bests with the trainer and free weights. I highly recommend this product without reservation.

I HAVE HAD THIS MACHINE FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS. i CAN HONESTLY SAY IT’S PROBABLE THE SMOOTHEST MACHINE THAT i HAVE EVER USED IN ALL OF MY YEARS TRAINING. iT IS MORE COMPACT THAN OTHER TRAINERS. tHE LEVERS TO ADJUST THE WEIGHT IS SO SIMPLLE. i LOVE THAT i CAN DO ASSISTED PULLUPS ON THIS BECAUSE MY SHOULDERS ARE SHOT. iF i HAD ONE WISH IT WOULD BE FOR A LITTLE TALLER MACHINE BUT i MAKE IT WORK FOR EVERYTHING THAT i DO.
