Been using this for a year and it's awesome!
However, there are downsides. the coating will be chipped away from a stainless steel barbell and the cups for racking the barbell could be improved with a j-cup option.

The quality of this machine is amazing. It's heavy duty and durable and makes it feel like a true commercial gym from the comfort of my home. It's a great space saver with its ability to perform as a rack and functional trainer with the attached cable system. It comes with some accessories but as mentioned in comments above it would be great if it also came with a rope. Overall it's great value for your money and I would highly recommend.

I picked this system up a few months ago, replacing a number of other pieces of equipment (a power rack and a less flexible pulley system). I have found this system incredibly well built and easy to assemble. the Flexibility in both positioning and # of pulley locations make moving from one exercise to another, effortless. If you are looking to consolidate down to a single system, I definitely recommend this one . I just need the rowing attachment now to finish the set.

After using several different types of functional trainers and adjustable pulley systems at my gym, I had two important features I was looking for in the functional trainer I ordered for my home gym:
1) The adjustable pulleys needed to slide up and down smoothly - no jerkiness or catching and preferably so smooth that I could adjust them with just one hand.
2) Smooth moving pulleys with no jerkiness or catching.
It's tough to confirm these items when shopping online, so I found as many videos as I could featuring BodyCraft products to see if I could notice the movement of the pulleys. Everything appeared smooth in the videos and their other products all had great reviews, so I decided to roll the dice.
This is an incredibly well built machine - sturdy, very smooth pulleys, adjustable pulleys glide up and down with ease.
What impressed me most was how easy it was to assemble and how clear the instructions were. After building 25 other items (furniture, gym equipment, gazebos, etc), I'm used to following instructions that are poorly worded, unclear, and appear as if they were written once but never tested or followed by the company before publishing. These instructions were the best I have ever seen. Clearly stating when to tighten bolts and when to leave them loose, heads-up whenever multiple parts were being attached to each other, clear illustrations of the pulley system flow, etc.
After assembling and testing out the equipment, I emailed BodyCraft to find out what the pulley ratios were. A customer service rep got back to me in less than 24 hours to let me know that she forwarded my question to their engineering dept. The engineering dept got back to me several hours later with the answer to my question.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this unit especially for the price point it's at. Assembly instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The pulleys are very smooth and the front post adjustments are simple to make. I'm very happy with this purchase and will look to Bodycraft in the future when purchasing new equipment.

This system was exactly what I was looking for, a full Rack and Functional Trainer in one piece of equipment. I have limited space in my garage home gym, so equipment that serves many functions is essential. The F438 RFT does just that. I can do free weight exercises like flat or incline bench press, OHP, or squats to name a few. I can also do loads of cable exercises as accessories, utilizing the smooth pulley system. I was very fortunate to find this in stock at a local dealer. My delivery date was about a month wait, but in these times, not really bad considering. I am very happy with my purchase and I cannot recommend it enough as a vital piece for the home gym.

Had a rack with a plate based lat pull down attachment and was looking for a functional trainer when I saw the RFT rack functional trainer combo. Decided to go ahead with the purchase, with the optional 200lb weight stacks. It's now a month later and I have no regrets. The RFT is sturdy, with easy to adjust safeties, and the pulley operation is smooth as silk. Because of the convenient weight adjustment and multiple pulley positions, we have been able to add several new exercises to our workouts. The RFT is now a part of everyone's daily routine. We love it!

After many weeks of shopping and trying different Power rack / Functional trainer combo I got the chance to try the RFT Rack Functional Trainer by Body Craft. I was immediately impressed by the feeling and how well built it was. There are no compromises with this unit; you really get the best of both worlds / units unlike other combos I have tried. I was so impressed by it that I purchased it on the same day I tried it.
The unit was very well package and the instructions were some of the best I have seen. The assembly was super easy I even got my young kids to help. All nuts, bolts and pieces came well identified and numbered so that it was a breeze to know what part to use and with which nuts. The instruction even tells you when to tighten all nuts and bolts to ensure proper fitting and a stable unit.
All in all this is the best unit I have found after over 6 to 8 weeks of shopping and trials. It was, again, the easiest assembly I ever had to do. The price was mid range but you don't want those cheaper units anyways and it beat easily the more expansive units in functionality.
A DEFINITE must buy if you want a Rack / FT combo.

I just put this together yesterday. So far everything is work great. Everything fits together very well, and feels sturdy. It was pretty easy and straight forward to assemble. The pulleys and cables are nice and smooth. The pull-up bar is slightly knurled to provide some grip, but not so much it hurts your hands. The shipping was extremely fast. Overall I'm very satisfied so far with my purchase of this machine.
