A couple of months ago I bought the VR200 Pro Rowing Machine. My family and me put many miles on it since then. We are using it several times a week. It is working flawlessly. I have the impression that everything is built rock solid there, I have no doubt that these machines are safe and will survive me.

We have enough space so we don’t need to fold after the usage, but I had to use that feature a couple of times and it is ridiculously easy considering the size and the weight of this machine. The computer is all right, nothing fancy but works well and the display is big enough so I can read it in a half lit room. A background light possibility would be nice, but I don’t think it has one.

I tried every resistance level, the highest level is pretty tough for me. Level 1 is good for warm up, I use level 3 or 4 for the workout. It feels that the resistance increases as you work harder / faster, so it is really up to you what do you get out of this thing.

The noise of the machine is mostly the air as it is hissing out from the head. It is not an unpleasant kind of noise but not super soft. It is hard to say whether the noise is disturbing or not, I guess it depends on what you are doing while someone is using the machine in the same room. But, of course when you are using the machine the breeze is super welcome.

I have yet to find a problem with the VR200, we got exactly what we expected, so it deserves the 5 stars.

I love the VR200 rower and use it practically every day. We set it up that evening we bought it and used it immediately. Thanks for helping us choose such a terrific product!

I bought this rower about 2 years ago and it has been an essential part of my exercise plan. When I wasn’t able to run on a treadmill, I could still use this rowing machine to get in my cardio. The VR200 is built like a rock and really stands up to any of the other rowers I’ve tried at the gym. Solid purchase, even 2 years later!

I weigh 287 lbs, so I had to buy a sturdy rowing machine as opposed to one at Walmart or Target. I saw an ad for pro gym gear at Forza in Spokane. Randy, who sells equipment to gyms, explained the high quality of the BodyCraft V200 and had me try out a floor model. I immediately saw the difference between the V200 and the cheaper ones I had tried. It’s a huge difference. I feel safer and more confident on the higher quality rower.

I’ve only had this machine for a couple of days, but so far I love it. It has everything you need in a rowing machine, without all the expensive (and unnecessary) bells & whistles. It has 8 levels of resistance, which seems more than enough (I set it to 4 for my first workout and it was perfect). I was able to fit the box (un-assembled) into the trunk of my Civic with the seats folded down, so you don’t need a pickup truck or large vehicle to transport it. It was easy to get home and assemble myself in about 60 minutes. The directions aren’t the best, but assembly is pretty intuitive and it comes with a standard wrench and an allen wrench/phillips screwdriver tool, which is all you need (no need to drag out your own toolbox). The machine does make a fair amount of “fan” noise when using, but the cool air keeps you from getting too hot during your workout. It’s also easy to fold up and move around. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m glad I spent the extra money instead of settling for the inferior quality of a cheaper machine.

The VR 200 is light and compact, and is a good addition to our garage gym. It provides a good cardio workout. It is smooth during rowing and it makes for a good workout. A backlit display would have been nice. Assembling the rower was hard since the different bolts didn’t have pictures.

Both my wife and I use the VR200 almost daily since we bought it. This is the first exercise machine that I truly enjoy using. It works my legs, core, shoulders and arms and is noticeably aerobic soon after warmup. The VR200 is surprisingly sturdy for a machine of its size.

As with any of the bodycraft home exercise equipment, the vr200 is well built, durable and a perfect addition to any home gym

This machine provides an excellent workout. Solidly built, it’s also whisper quiet. It folds up in a snap for transport. I highly recommend this rower!

Good for the arms (with multiple ways to pull in order to work different muscle groups), for the legs, and for overall exercise. So glad we got this now that we are spending even more time at home. Easily folded up for storage and extended for use. This is only the second piece of exercise equipment that we have at home and we are extremely pleased with our choice.

I have had two operations on my left knee (one at 18, the second at 50), leaving me with no cartilage (down to bone on bone). My surgeon said that the next operation will be a full knee replacement (he thought I would need it at 55; I am now 61). While shopping for home fitness equipment, I tried every stationary bike in the store, and every one induced pain in my knee. Using the VR200 rowing machine strengthens the muscles in my legs (and arms and upper body) but leaves me pain free. It will thus help me to put off the knee replacement surgery, and will no doubt help during recovery from the surgery when (or if?) I have to undergo it.

I just received my new VR200 rowing machine, hurriedly assembled it(only took 20 minutes) and started rowing. I’ve been using rowers in gyms since I started rowing a couple years ago, rarely missing a day.
This machine is awesome so far(of course just started and 2 days in). It’s comfortable, smooth, pretty quiet and gives me everything I’ve ever needed from the gym machines. I live in a small condo and it folds up and tucks away easily.

Having bad knees and shoulder surgery limited my ability to exercise. This rower gives a good all over low impact workout that does not hurt my shoulder. Doctor recommended as well. Pretty easy to set up. The air blowing at you is welcome as you get into the workout. Display on computer is good. Smooth operation and relatively quiet. Also very easy to fold up and move if necessary.

We bought the VR200 Rowing Machine 8 days ago and so far my husband and I are happy with our purchase. We assembled the machine in about 2 hours and since then it has suited our needs.

Recently got this VR200 Rowing Machine and it has been awesome. It was easy to assemble and the ability for it to fold up is perfect for storage. Easy to use and makes for a good workout in a short time.

I find the screen a little small and hard to read the fine print. Other than that it seems well made, easy to store and move around. Operates very smooth and quiet.

Starting our second week with the VR200; and my wife and I couldn’t be happier! Set up was a breeze and we were off and rowing the first night. If you are like us and new to rowing; this is not only a great price, but excellent quality to go with it! There is no doubt that as time goes one and we look for something with a little more options wises; we will, without a doubt, choose another model by BodyCraft!

I just received my VR200 yesterday and I couldn’t wait to use it. I was so excited after I purchased it, it is living up to expectations, smooth, quiet and great cardio workout. I am so glad I decided to purchase this compact rower due to space constraints, it is perfect.

The VR200 is a perfect machine for home use; it’s quiet, doesn’t take a lot of space, and provides enough resistance to get a decent workout.

Amazing. This machine is first…the perfect size. It’s up to 20 inches shorter than competitive items, 20 inches is enormous when it’s in your house. I’m 6’2” and there is plenty of room to spare on the slide. This allows this machine to fit almost any anywhere. 2. It is amazingly quiet. I live in a small house and if someone is using the machine you don’t hear it. 3 it fold up to be so tiny and it moves so easy. 4. It took me about an hour to unpack and put together. And assembly was straight forward and fairy easy. All the tools you need are supplied. And finally since I starting rowing I feel so much better, energized and actually enjoy the time I’m working out. The best machine to have and when you throw in today’s environment a must have. Get one and enjoy life.

I never thought I would LOVE a piece of exercise equipment. I have had my VR200 rower for three months and average 90 minutes a day on it. My friends have jokingly said I have an unhealthy relationship with my rower. I don’t even care. I feel great every day that I row. Great full body workout.

This is a very sturdy machine and I have no doubt that it will continue to keep up with my new found love for rowing!

Great machine! It is very compact and folds up easily. The track is very very smooth and the resistance mechanism it too. The timer and stroke counter is simple but it works well. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been looking for a compact rower for a while and am quite pleased with the VR200. It was easy to assemble and is very smooth. It’s very easy to fold up and move it around. The resistance is good. Noise level is not annoying. The display is adequate but would be better with a backlight. I’d prefer to have adjustable foot pedals so they could be a little bit lower and it would be nice if the pedals didn’t pivot so much because it’s difficult to keep my feet in the proper position.

Just finished putting the VR200 together. First time I used it at home. It glides very smoothly. I love the large amount of air that blows on your body and cools you as you row. These are the two reasons I picked this one after trying more expensive models from various manufacturers. For you short people, I’m only 5’2” and it fits me well.

I’m 75 years old and don’t easily purchase new equipment. This rower has helped all my body parts (back, arms, legs). I love this rower so much, I’m even writing this review (first one ever). Thank you BodyCraft for such a great rower!

easy to assemble and good quality for the price point. love that the air also comes out of the front so it cools you as you workout.

I tried the rest and settled on the best, the best for me that is! The look, the feel, the simplicity, it all contributed to my purchase and still makes me happy and satisfied why I bought it. Today I just hit a new milestone of 999 strokes, I wanted to see how far I would get till the stroke counter resets to zero. I still had gas left in the tank. No new years resolution for a summer body, I just want an all year round body. We couldn’t be happier, best workout for the body in the most efficient use of equipment hands down!!
