BODYCRAFT SPX-MAG IS THE MOST USEFUL, SOLID BUILT INDOOR TRAINING CYCLE YOU CAN GET. THIS CYCLE IS WELL BUILT, QUIET, BALANCED, ADJUSTABLE AND SMOOTH. THE RESISTANCE IS ADJUSTABLE, MY SHOES LOCK IN PERFECTLY AND I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKOUTS. THANKS BODYCRAFT. THIS WAS THE BEST

Just received my SPX Mag and did my first ride. I like everything about the bike except for one minor problem. When riding out of the seat if I’m not carful my knees can hit the handlebars. I have the seat all the way back and the handlebars all the way forward. On my next ride I will raise the handlebars higher. I would otherwise have rated the bike 5 stars, now its 4.5 stars.

I love my Bodycraft SPX-Mag bike! I decided to buy my own spin bike after making the decision not to go back to the gym because of Covid. This bike is solid and the ride is so smooth. It is super quiet too. The only think I hear is my heavy breathing…lol! I like where the two water bottle holders are too. They are out of the way, so you don’t knock the bottles off, but they are easy to reach when you need to grab a drink. I absolutely love having this bike in my home and not having to get in my car and drive to the gym. I do spin classes off of Youtube or just set some tension and ride and watch some TV. In no time the sweat starts pouring off of you. I am so happy to have bought this bike.

Love my Bodycraft SPX bike. It was easy to finish setting up and adjust to hight. The bike rides smoothy and is very quiet. I ordered the blue tooth piece to go with and it was easily hooked up and helps challenge your ride. The device also keeps myself more committed to the ride. I do wish it had an option to know your resistance however I am getting use to knowing my bike/ the resistance.

Perfect bike for us. Adjustments are easy to use. My husband and I both enjoy riding this. Very quiet and well built. Great bike for excercising indoors.

I have to say, I love my Bodycraft SPX-MAG bike! For reference, I am 5’1 with short arms/torso. I tried countless spin bikes (Peloton, Bowflex/IC4, Spirit, Lifefitness) and none of them felt comfortable to me. When I sat on the Bodycraft bike, I knew this was the one. The seat is shockingly comfortable, but more than that the handlebars can be adjusted by depth and not just height. This helped with arching of the lower back and overall comfort to the ride. A couple things for anyone hoping to mimic the Peloton bike/app experience. If you purchase the Bodycraft Cycle Computer w/Comprehensive Feedback, it DOES NOT monitor resistance or heart rate. It says “optional heart rate belt” but I don’t believe mine came with it. The calories burned is off too as the best way to really monitor calories burned is via heart rate. So I suggest either getting a belt or a good smartwatch. I use Garmin Vivoactive 4S. You have upgrade to the SPR bike to get resistance number – which is always something Peloton instructors call out during rides.
The sales person tried to sell me on Bodycrafts DUALPRO Bluetooth SMART / ANT+ Cadence/Speed Sensor. It DOES NOT work with the Kindle Fire – which is the tablet I use to stream my workouts. This sensor is essentially the same as the Garmin sensor (which I purchased bc it syncs with my watch) as well as the Wahoo sensor. These are all things I wish I knew before my purchase. With that said, I would still recommend this bike but be prepared to add on to get cadence/speed/HR and know you will never truly get your resistance number.

Smooth and quiet right out of the box. Like the handlebar design. Easy to assemble and appears to be very sturdy and well made. no issues with the exercise bike.

Purchased this bike from Exercise & Leisure in Cincinnati, OH. Excellent service and they even delivered to our rural address (70 miles east of cincinnati). Set-up was completed in 5 minutes. So far, the bike has been great. even in our area with weak internet (we have satellite only0, it has connected flawlessly to zwift. the bike is so adjustable that finding the right fit was easy. also connects well to my ipad air. a great bike at a very reasonable price.

We have the Bodycraft spx at my condo building and I don’t get the appeal. There’s no workout modes and no built in modes. You get Android tablet features but what’s the point without a dedicated workout app. I guess it’s cool that you can use peloton for extra $$ but it’s weird that I can’t select basic workouts on the bike and get increased Resistance or something as I ride. The seat is also phenomenally uncomfortable.

      Hi Theveon,
Thank you for the review. The SPX is an indoor cycle. Indoor Cycles (aka Spin Bikes) are designed to incorporate bicycle racing saddles, and do not include any electronic resistance. We do produce bikes that are more what you seem to expect, such as our U1000 Upright Bike. Maybe you can talk your Condo building into investing into the style of bike you would prefer!
